What type of content can
I submit?
Each of RapidRank’s Search engine partners has
editorial guidelines to which RankNow subscribers must
adhere. Inclusion into the program can be revoked if
Web pages violate these guidelines. Review fees are
nonrefundable should an engine choose not to accept
or to remove the site for any of these editorial reasons.

Can I submit
dynamic pages?
Yes. The Search engine crawlers will be able to crawl
any dynamically-driven pages from their URL parameters.

pages for inclusion?
No. RankNow’s Search engine partners do
not accept doorway pages in the index.

How long will my Web sites
remain included?
Sites accepted by RankNow's Search engine partners
are included for 12 months. Listings are taken down
once your specified click balance
has been exhausted, unless you choose our most popular
non-stop traffic option which insures uninterrupted
traffic. Listings may be reinstated upon refreshing
the balance. E-mail notices will be sent by RankNow
each time the annual review fee or specified budget
is close to being reached.

How can I improve
my Web page's ranking?
RankNow cannot guarantee top placement, however
it can greatly enhance your chances of a successful
ranking.
RankNow offers a unique, proprietary process/information
inclusion tool. This tool works to significantly raise
your chance for ranking success. When trying to improve your site’s rankings, here
are some suggestions:
- Choose keywords most relevant to your Web site.
- Mention these keywords near the top of your web
page, such as in the headline or in the first paragraph,
as well as in your Web page's title, description and
keyword meta-tags.
- Mention keywords more than once on relevant pages,
however do not mention the keywords in a repetitive
string. This may be considered “Spamming”
by our partners and may lead to the omission of your
pages from Search engines.

If I do not bid for rank,
how is my site's position determined?
As a member of the RankNow program, each of your sites
is ranked according to the individual Search engine’s
relevance algorithm. Your listing is weighted by quality,
not price. Such weighting maintains the integrity of
the search results for users, and also helps you acquire
the most targeted traffic. Our proprietary process inclusion
tool and the keywords, titles and descriptions entered
will greatly help in this process.

Can I change
the URL of my Web site after I subscribe to RankNow?
Yes. To do so, log in to the Account Management Center
and follow the simple instructions for editing your
listing.
It is important to note that URL substitution may result
in the removal of a listing if it infringes upon the
Overture Search engines’ guidelines. An example
of this is replacing a skin care product site URL with
a DVD site URL.

What are the
three types of payment plans?
RankNow gives you payment flexibility with three
distinct payment plan options, as listed below:
- Non-Stop Traffic Plan (Preferred Customer
Plan)
This plan ensures uninterrupted service with minimum
account management. RankNow charges your credit
card when your account balance reaches the specified
amount you have chosen. This enables continuous visibility
of each listing without the worry of deactivation.
You will receive an e-mail notification each time
your credit card is charged.
As an incentive, with the Non-Stop Plan, RankNow
will waive the 2nd and 3rd URL fee, a $58 value, each
year!
- Fixed Budget Plan
With the Fixed Budget Plan, you set a monthly budgeted
amount that you would like to spend on RapidRank each
month. If your monthly balance reaches $0.00 before
the end of the month, your URLs will be deactivated.
At the start of the new month, RankNow will
automatically reactivate your account and charge your
credit card for the specified budgeted amount. For
example, if you sign up on April 6th and exhaust your
funds by April 25th, your account will reactivate
on May 6th.
- Pre-Payment Plan
Under the Pre-Payment Plan, you choose when to add
money to your account. This plan offers your small
business flexibility and control. When your account
is depleted, your URLs will be deactivated until you
choose to add additional funds. RankNow will
send you e-mail notifications approximately seven
days prior to deactivation and again the day your
URLs are deactivated, to keep you informed on your
account status.
